Introducing Socle Collection

Socle: a small, solid wood table, not just a piece to park your coffee mug on, but a statement.

Let's think about the Renaissance, artists like Donatello transformed the humble plinth from a mere stage to an integral part of the sculpture. Fast forward to the 20th century, and Constantin Brancusi pushed it even further, blurring the lines between the artwork and its base. Socle is born from that same tradition; it's not just what's on top that counts but the whole, unified form.

Made from solid wood, Socle isn't just durable; it's a sculptural entity. I chose wood for a reason. Wood, with its veins and grains, has its own language; it speaks through its texture, color, and feel. Wood isn't just 'material'; it's an expressive medium that complements the items it holds up—your favorite books, a vase, or perhaps an actual sculpture.
