Wood. Weight. Wonder
Last year, we made more design pieces than ever before. But what really stood out were the one-of-a-kind pieces—projects that feel less like furniture and more like challenges disguised as art.
One stood out: Still Stand. A sculpture in solid wood that was monumental in every way.
The sale? Almost a year in the making. We started talking to the client in 2023, and when we finally closed the deal, we realized something big: we had underestimated it.
Despite years of experience crafting complex pieces, this one was different. A challenge disguised as a masterpiece. Nearly 200 kilos of wood. Weeks of development, months of production. Every cut, every polish—it felt like the piece dictated the pace.
Lately, every commission feels like a final, unrepeatable prototype. And that’s what keeps me going. Knowing this piece is now living where it belongs—hopefully, for decades.
Because, in the end, that’s what it’s all about: creating something that outlasts the effort it took to make it.
